Willpower

Mahatma Gandhi once said that “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." Willpower is the strength to overcome emotion, fear or happiness, and apathy, a lack of interest. When motivation dies in a fiery pit, willpower serves you in the best way: it gives you self-control. Potts argues that Americans "lack character" because we make excuses for our awful behavior; it is time we "took control of our actions" and held ourselves accountable. I agree to an extent. Americans (and people elsewhere) must be responsible and gain self-control. However, doing what is right is not always better than doing what is easy.
